Funeral Service for Deacon Glenroy “Cracker” Evans, age 78 years of Cowmen Lane, off Malcolm Road who died on Sunday, May 1st, 2016 will be held on Saturday, May 14th at 12:00 Noon at Love Worth Finding Ministries, Inc., Golden Isles Road. Officiating will be Rev’d Dr. Stanley Ferguson, assisted by Pastor Foster Knowles and Other Ministers of The Gospel. Interment will be made in Lakeview Memorial Gardens and Mausoleums, John F. Kennedy Drive and Gladstone Road.
Left to cherish his precious memories are his (4) Daughters: Pastor Loreen Evans Russell, Sarah Evans Demeritte, Glenva Evans and Desiree Evans; (1) Son: Glenroy Evans Jr.; (1) Step son: Mark Cleare; (3) Step daughters: Ruthmae Hanna (Haslet, Texas), Helena Evans and Bianca Cleare; ( (15) Grandchildren: Omar Thompson Sr., Senator The Hon. Lanisha Rolle, Phillippa Russell-Armbrister, WPC Constable 3639 Phillice Russell-Mackey, Philadenrin Russell, Lauren Russell-Strachan, Tabithia Russell, Wendira Demeritte, Larado Evans, Arnold Evans, Glenlisa Evans, Glenora Evans, Glenroy Evans 111, Lashann Whyms and Lechea Strachan; (1) Daughter-in-law: Claudette Evans; (1) Son-in-law: Wendall Demeritte; (1) Uncle: Rev. Viewing will be held at New Free Community Holiness Church, Cowmen Lane on Friday, May 13th from 11:00am-6:00pm and on Saturday from 11:00am at the church until service time.
