Last rites for Deacon Yorick Evans, age 83, of Sir Lynden Pindling estates and formally of Nicholl’s Town Andros, will be held on Sunday May 15th, 2016 at The New St. Paul Baptist Church, Baillou Hill Road and Bias Street, at 2:00pm. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Robert Colebrook, Assisted by Rev. Kenneth Bain, Minister Florance Darville and Minister Christopher Strachan, Internment Old Trail Cemetery.
He is survived by his Wife: Ruth, Childern: Yorick jr., Austin, Micheal and Bearnard, Sonia Forbes, Hedda and Denice Evans, Aliene Rahming, Ricardo, Latoya, Waltdon, Rocheal Rahming. 1 Brother: Bernard Evans Sr. 1 Sister in Law: Gloria Evans Nephews: Bernard Evans Jr, Wendell, Kendall, Dale, Lorenzo, Laverick, Don, Betholomew Bowleg, Kirk, Clyde, Ben, Loftus Rolle, Herman Coleby, Clayton Mackey, James Smith , Lancelot, Lockward, Martin, Peter (Sandra) and Oral Russell, Benjamin Rahming, Edwin Lightbourne Nieces: Valarie, Yvonne, Darnell, Ruby, Kimley, Phoenix, Dorinda, Lettianne, Catherine,Tanya, Bernadette, Bernice, Berneya, Natasha, Phera, Dorothy Coleby, Meryl Mackey, Tracy, and Loren Rolle, Sally,Madeline , Constance, Mae, Paulette, Judith Rahming, anne Lightbourne and Iris Russell 52 Grandnephews and 50 Grandnieces a host of Other Relatives and Friends including: Clara Evans, Laurie Rolle, Dr. Gertrude Holder, Malcolm and Peter Evans, Alphonse Smith, Dr. Caroline Roberts, Mark Hudson , Harry Treco, Daisy, Shelly, Dwayne and Mario Bowleg
The body will repose at Curtis Memorial Mortuary on Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm, on Saturday from 11:00am to 4:00pm and at the church on Sunday at the Church from 1:00pm until service time.
