Funeral Service for Uriah Lorenzo “Renza” Cartwright, age 84 years, of Johnson Terrace, will be held on Saturday May 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Parish, Madeira Street, Palmdale. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Junior Calixte assisted by Deacon Dennis Mackey.
Renza is survived by his wife: Agnes; son: John Andrew Cartwright (Marsh Harbour, Abaco); daughters: Theresa and Ann Marie; son-in-law: Winton Frederick Farrington, daughter-in-law: Christina Bethel Cartwright; grandchildren: Mason and Codie Cartwright, Tara, Inga and James Frederick Farrington and Donald Moree; granddaughter-in-law: Indira Munroe Farrington; great grandchildren: Jamie, Eryn and James Jr. and Ethan; brother: Vincent Cartwright (Florida); sisters: Rosa, Gaudia and Caroline Cartwright and Agnes Saunders, all of Long Island and Angela Darville and family of Freeport; sisters-in-law: Verna Cartwright (Freeport) and Maris Saunders and family (Tamarac, FI); numerous nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; Viola Sylvia Pratt (friend and caregiver); his adopted family: Keno, Ephenette, Kristopher and Saniyah Wong (Johnson Terrace), Thomas and Diane Bethel (Hope Town, Abaco); neighbours of Johnson Terrace community; caregiver: Dorothy Robinson.
Special thanks and appreciation are extended to: Dr. Cherilyn Hanna and her team at Chesapeake Comprehensive Care, Dr. Magnus Ekedede, Nurses from ‘Private Nurses Register', Fr. Noel Clarke, Fr. Junior Calixte, Deacon Dennis Mackey and Prayer Team of St. Thomas More Church and Christine Curry Wong and team of Smithy’s Pharmacy, Bernadette Metholall and Sarika Metholall-Rolle for care extended to Renza during his illness.

Viewing for Mr. Cartwright will be (Today) Thursday May 19, 2016 at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Mr. Cartwright will be cremated before the service on Saturday.
