Tracey Watts Strachan

Funeral Service for the late Tracey Watts Strachan, aged 81 years of Gleniston Gardens and formerly of West End, Grand Bahama, who died on Saturday, 20th August, 2016, will be held on Friday, September 2nd, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at St Agnes Anglican Church, Baillou Hill Road. Archdeacon Kingsley Knowles assisted by Fr. Scott Brennen and Fr. Joseph Mycklewhyte will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Gardens, Solder Road.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife: G. Lorraine Robertson Strachan. Children: Sherry, Stirling (Judy), Trevor “Randy” (Charlene), Ian (Latasha), Dwight and Terrence. Siblings: Gwen (& Idris) Reid, Edmund (& Gloria) Strachan, Mary (& Joseph) Mycklewhyte, and Milo “Keith” (& Cher) Strachan. Brothers-in-law: Kirkland (& Diane) Robertson. Grandchildren: Kendrick, Judith, Trevor, Trevon, Joshua, David, Isaiah, Terrence, Tariq and Tristen Strachan, and Ariel Garraway. Nephews: Julian Reid, Devin (& Kenya) and Dionisio (& Stacy) Mycklewhyte, Garth, Ahmad, Travano, Milon and Keyshawn Strachan, Douglas (& Mavis) Bryan, and Kurt Robertson. Nieces: Nicola (& Willie) Reid Simmons, Raquel (& Tameko) Mycklewhyte Laramore, Keiarra Strachan, T’Shae Sherman, Hope (& Richard) Cooke, Beverley Bryan, and Angela Robertson. Cousins: Ricardo, Vivian, Samuel “Newt”, Perry, Kyron, Michaela, Zandra and Courtney Strachan, LaGlora Demeritte, Viola Rahming, Zelda Pearson, Joseph Hepburn, Eula Edwards, Garett Butler, Letitia Curry, Flora Moss, Artis, Lenwood and Ingrid Neely, Brenda Johnson. Grand nieces and nephews: Jayvin, Joivon, Kiana and Kiajha Mycklewhyte, Hunter Simmons, Adrinne and Andrew Cooke. Other relatives and friends including: family of the late Sir Milo Butler, family of the late Jane Bethel, family of the late Willisie Robinson, family of Lease Strachan, family of the late Anzlo and the late Canon Dudley Strachan, the Wilchcombe family, the family of the late Clarence Smith, the Robertson family, the Moss family, Dave Hamilton and family, the St. George’s Church family, the Stephens Close & Gleniston Gardens Community, Tamara Smith, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Robin Roberts, Dr. Adrian Sawyer, Dr. Dionne Dames-Rahming, Dr. Devaughn Curling, and the Nurses at Princess Margaret Hospital Private Medical Ward. And to those for whom Tracey loved and cared, and who loved and cared for him, if your name was inadvertently omitted, please forgive us, and know that you are certainly and greatly appreciated.
Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #44 Nassau Street on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
