A funeral service for the late Mrs. Marjorie Louise Albury, 81, of Nassau, The Bahamas, who died at Doctors Hospital, Collins Avenue, Nassau, on Friday, 2nd September, 2016, will be held at Shirley Heights Gospel Chapel, Mount Royal Avenue, Nassau, (TODAY) Thursday, 8th September, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.
Dr. Sam Mikhael and Brother Steven Key will officiate and interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, East Shirley Street, Nassau.
Marjorie Louise Albury was born to Charles and Evelyn Carey on 8th November, 1934, the fourth of four children. She was born again on Wednesday, 4th December, 1974 and on Sunday, 4th April, 1976 baptized at Montague Beach by Evangelist Dick Saunders.
She married Ronald William (Billy) Albury on 31st October, 1958 and they had three children, Ronald W. Albury Jr., Roger Bentley Albury and Jane Elizabeth Sands. Her children gave her five grandchildren. Ronald Albury III, Sean Albury, Connor Albury, Jessica Albury and Brandon Sands.
She loved her children very much and her grandchildren were very precious to her.
Marjorie was a quiet, shy young girl when she met Billy and he was blessed to have had her for his wife.
While she was bedridden she was wonderful in showing God's grace even in suffering.
She is survived by her husband Ronald W. (Billy) Albury; her three children Ronald, Bentley and Jane; her sister Noreen Lauderdale; brother-in-law, David Albury; sisters-in-law Jeannie Albury and Joan Carey; daughter-in-law Tammy Albury and son-in-law Eugene Sands; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Her husband Billy and all the family are thankful for all the prayers, phone calls and personal condolences from all their friends. Also, we are sincerely grateful to the care all the nurses gave her and a special thanks to Dr. Angela Kunz who attended to her.
