Funeral Service for Mr. David Pratt, age 80 years, of #34 Watlings Street and formerly of New Bight, Cat Island, will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Trinity Global Cathedral, Marshall Road and Faith Avenue. Officiating will be Bishop Lawrence Rolle, assisted by other ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Precious and fond memories will always linger in the heart of his wife: Millicent Beckles-Pratt; eight daughters: Marilyn Pratt and Laverne Lightbourne of Washington D.C, Janet Darling (Sgt. 873), Hope Miller (Assistant Office Administrator of the Gaming Board), Sandra Davis- Rolle, Annouch Armbrister (Training Officer of the Ministry of Health), Mary Johnson (Assistant Office Administrator), and Ebony Moss; ten sons: Michael Pratt, Gregory Pratt of St Petersburg, Fla, Mario Pratt Sr. of Jacksonville, Fla, Ornan Pratt of Miami, Fla, Pastor Edward Pratt, Tonee Pratt of Baltimore, Md, and David Pratt Jr.; one step-daughter: Charmaine Ferguson; twenty-seven gran-ddaughters: Latoya Barnes of Miami Fla, Alicia Blair of Phoenix, Arizona, Anita Bair of Washington, D.C, Specialist Kaylah Pratt of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Shaquanda Pratt, Crystal and Shameeka Sherman of Miami, Fla, Krystale, Melandie Williams, Oshanna,  Michelle Pratt, Tekoiya Ferguson, Jade Darling, Ferrell Johnson, Reshmi and Ria Davis, Lynee Miller, Jacinth Ferguson Jaimi Armbrister, Favor and Alayah Moss, Melandie Williams, Brithne Forbes, Keisha, Natalie and Alease Pratt; twenty-one grand-sons: Mario Jr, Tracey, Rasheed, Keyshawn, Ornan Jr,  Sequan, Tashawn, Davian and Sgt. Gregory Pratt Jr, U.S. Army, Ricardo and Ricarno Lightbourne, Darwin Denny, Washington, D.C,  Jermaine Robinson, Steven Higgs, Mikhail Davis, Calvin, Horatio and Leonardo Miller, Deangelo Moss, J'Kari Armbrister and; thirteen  great grand-daughters: Jaziah, Saniya, Aaliaya, Jayla, Janniyah, Londyn, Truth, Kaylah, Londyn ,Jacksonville, Fla , Olana and O'Maria Pratt, Miami Fla. Khy'mani Lightbourne, Janea Robinson; six great grand-sons: Oliver Barnes Jr, Mario 111, Tracey Jr, Jayden Robinson, William Blair and Cameron Pratt, daughters-in-law: Leonie Pratt of Jacksonville, Fla and  LaVerta Pratt of St. Peter'sburg, Fla.; sons-in-law: Supt. Jeffrey Darling R.B.P.F.  Linza Miller, Glenn Rolle, Lamont Armbrister and Deangelo Moss; sisters-in-law: Nurse Pamela Pratt (Freeport), Clophield Pratt (Miami Fla), Catherine Pratt and Beverly Adderley, Antoinette Turnquest, Nurse Linda Johnson-Perry of Miami, Fla, Emerald and Cheryl Beckles.  Leanna Laing; brothers-in-law: Donald Minnis, Vincent Beckles and Dalton Perry. nephews: Arthur, Virgil, Samuel, Rev. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd, Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads, on Friday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and at the church on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
