Funeral service for
Mildred Brown, 91
a resident of Strachan’s Corner & formerly of Turks & Caicos Islands, will be held at Mt. Pleasant Green Baptist Church, Quakoo & East Streets, on Saturday 8th April, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Wesley L. Ferguson, assisted by Rev. Garth Johnson, Rev. Nelson McFall & Rev. Calvin Rolle. Interment follows in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads.
She is predeceased by her father: Jeremiah Smith, mother: Frances Gibson, husband: David Brown and is survived by her adopted sons: Kelcy Lundy Sr. & Frankie Ambrose; adopted daughter: Milissa Lundy; grandson: Kelcy Lundy Jr.; grand daughter: Kelcia Lundy; best friend: Mrs. Vera Coakley; special thanks to: Elder Elcie Mackey & family, Lynette Coakley & family, Mrs. Minerva Smith & family, Percy Hield & family & Patrice Rolle & family; a host of other relatives & friends including: John Lundy, Cedral Bowleg & family, Mrs. Ethel Edgecombe family, Franceta Sands & family, Helen Gibson & family, Derek Scott & family, Navardo Glinton & family, The D-12 Bar family, Charity Workers family, Strachans Corner family, Thompson Lane family, Fritz Lane family Mt. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from10:00 a.m. until service time.
