Memorial Service for VERNAL THEOPHILUS ROLLE SR., age 75 years of Marshall Road and formerly of The Bluff, South Andros will be held on Friday April 21st, 2017 at New Providence Seventh-day Adventist Church, Solider Road.

Last rites for VERNAL THEOPHILUS ROLLE SR., age 75 years of Marshall Road and formerly of The Bluff, South Andros will be held on Sunday April 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church, Tonique Williams-Darling Highway. Officiating will be Pastor Peter Joseph, Pastor Nakita Thompson, Pastor T. Basil Sturrup, and Pastor Leonardo Rahming, Assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.

Cherished memories will forever linger in the heart of her loving and faithful Wife Hyacinth “Ann” Rolle (nee Vassell). Nine children: R/Sgt. 690, Elder Christopher (and Eleanor) Rolle, Elder Leo (and Charise) Rolle, Elder Roderick (and Nicole) Rolle, HMP Sgt. Vernal (and Cpl. Astronique) Rolle, Sgt. 1804 Dwight (and Tessa) Rolle, Monique (and Elder Audley) Rahming, Andray Carridice, Shanique Collier and Troy Collier. Twenty-Three Grandchildren: Shellbe, Dwight Jr., Jasmine, Ryan, Jahnoi, Jonathan, Nikita, Deangelo, Ashanti, Raynard, Anthoni, Andrenique, Verneisha, Dante, Dwight II, Ashlie, Andrew, Robyn, Alexie, Ebony, Zyaria, Leo Jr., and Vershon. One Great-Grand Child: Rynique One Uncle: Sam Stubbs Two Brothers: Sidney (and Rhoda) Rolle, Brian (and Ellabie) Rolle. Two Sisters: Eula Rolle and Sentry Dean, Adopted Mother: Merline Mott, Adopted Brother: Gary (and Terryann) Forbes Father-in-Law: Weston Vassell, Brothers-in-Law: Preston (and Hazel) Johnson, Leo Johnson, Lionel (and Cynthia) Johnson, and Mark (and Carlene)Turner, Sisters-in-Law: Jennifer (and Truby) Johnson, Judith (and Cyril) Rolle, Almarie Vassell, Sheryl Vassell, Lillian (and Dennis) Brown, and Sharon Spence; 41 Nieces and 53 Nephews, and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins, too numerous to mention. The body will repose at CURTIS MEMORIAL MORTUARY, Robinson Road & Fifth Street on Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and at the church on Sunday from 12 noon until service time.
