Kevin Leon Taylor, 62
a resident of Bozine Drive, will be held at The New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Independence Drive, on Saturday, 12th August, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Everette J. Brown, assisted by Rev. Christine Johnson, Rev. Cecil Higgs, Elder Cora McPhee, Rev. Tyrone Laing, Deacon Robert Farquharson & other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads.
He is predeceased by his parents, Olive Miller, William Taylor and Samuel Webb and his daughter Racquel Taylor.
Left to cherish his memories are his two brothers: William and Adrian Taylor; one sister: Sandra Davis of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one son: Kevin Forbes; one granddaughter: Racquel Lewis; one sister-in-law: Yvonne Taylor; 14 grand nieces and nephews: Fredrick Taylor, Dena Taylor-Williams (Angel), Geleta Parker (Brian) of Kennesaw Georgia, Thea Russell (Michael) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Fantella Davis (Aaron), Derricka Acree (Ed) of Deland, Florida, Rhonda Jarrett (Alva), Shadena Rodriquez, Jennifer Williams, Jestin, Lawerence, Daniesha, Chancel and Mark Taylor; 24 great grand nieces and nephews: Savanya Mott, Demetrius Robinison, Satara Taylor, De’Angel Williams, Shaiann Pinder, Latari Washington, Jaylen Parker, Michael and Mackenzie Russell, Erin Davis, Tyrese Bethel, Hakeem, Jameel, Ne’kaye Acree, Marcello Bethel, Anaya Jarrett, Jermiesha and Jermaine Bullard, Kamar Thompson, Deniro Higgs, Davon Taylor and Jadaisha Hanna, Trevor and Lawreano Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends including: Rosemarie Strachan, Ellis Bannister, Leon Knowles, Kevin Ingraham, Fredrick Sands, Brendon Cartwright, Franklyn Hinsey, Stafford Stuart, Ian Cambridge, Andre Cooper, Don Knowles, Wilton Cunningham, Lester Brown, Tavarie Taylor, Mark Hinsey, Bernard Rodgers, Hansel Strachan, Talbol Forbes, Jane Rolle of Delon Springs, Florida, Daisy Williams, Sheena Mortimer and family, Vernita Saunders and family, Rev. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
