Gordon Phillip Sands age 80 years of Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Thursday, February 2nd, 2017.
He is survived by his Wife: Florence Sands; 1 Son: Philip Sands; 4 Daughters: Sonja Gardiner, Elva Nixon, Valencia Sands, Syretta Moxey; 1 adopted Son: Paul Simmons Sr.; 7 grandsons: Valentino Sands, Llewllyn and Andre Gardiner, Rene and McArthur Charlton, Akeem Thompson, Shamario Farrington; 9 granddaughters: Nadia, Heather, Jaleesa, and Kiara Nixon, Lathera Marche, Kadejah and Tanai Sands, Breanna and Brittani Moxey; 2 sons in law: Gregory Nixon, Clarence Moxey; 1 daughter in law: Chantel Sands; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Arrangements for the funeral service are being finalized and details will be announced at a future date.
