Funeral Service for the late Mr. Kenneth Missick age 81 years of Wilson Tract and formerly of Betsy Bay, Mayaguana will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at 10:30 am at Zion Baptist Church, East and Shirley Streets. Officiating will be Rev. T.G. Morrison assisted by Rev. Anthony A. Sampson, other Associate Ministers, Deacons and Evangelists. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive and Gladstone Road.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife: Rosemary Higgins-Missick; six sons: Edison, Alexander, Sterling, Jerome, Dennis and Shefford Missick; Five daughters: Colamae, Leanamae, Shenika and Shekira Missick, and Iona Charlton. One step daughter: Carmen Williams of West Palm Beach. One son in-law: Roy Charlton, Five Daughters in-law: Eulamae, Margaret, Apostle Cathy, Carmen and Ruth Missick., Twenty-two grand children: Cassan, Patro, Shamara, Sheena, Nickesha, Elricko, Elvardo, Tanaz, Rodeisha, Desiree, Laverne, Valencia, Unetha, Jeanamae, Camisha, Javan, Ian, Joyann, Shania, Jada, Cameren and Jamaal. Seven great-grands: Crystal, Sapphire, Deante, Shanae, Seriah, Kadari and Demargio. Two Sisters: Sylvia Missick and Min. Pearl Thompson. One Brother: Rudolph Missick. Sisters in-law: Ceola Missick, Joycemae Arnett, Marion Higgins-Brown, Roxanne and Joann Higgins. Brothers in-law: Rev. Joseph Thompson, Samuel Murphy, Charles, Shervington, Walton and Prince Higgins. Nieces: Joy, Louise, Eulamae, Joycelyn of New York, Leona, Coralee, Marguerite, Constance, Sylvia, Dianne, Shaneka, Dellaresse, Nelta, Nadeen, Stacey, Shantell, Decoda, Karen, Sherriley, Maryann, Yvonne and Melanie. Viewing will be held in the Halcyon Suite at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Soldier Road on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
