Funeral Service for Ruth Isabella Simmons-Jones age 91 years and a resident of #3 Albacore Drive Freeport and formerly of Nassau Bahamas and Salt Cay, Turks and Caicos Islands will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday 14th, January, 2017 at Church of the Ascension, West Beach Drive and Arden Forest Road. Officiating will be Father Michael Gittens and interment will follow in the Grand Bahama Memorial Park #2, Frobisher Drive.
Cherished memories are held by her children: Annette (Franklyn) Bethel, Arthur (Delores) Jones, Aston (Ana) Jones, Michael (Joetha) Jones, Leo Jones, Keith (Linda) Jones, Spence Jones, and Dixie Jones; sisters: Louise Simmons and Mary Stovel; 10 granddaughters: Sophia Gibson, Samantha Bethel, Angelica and Johana Jones, Shantell Swann, Tamiko and Crystal Jones, Chanelle Virgill, Letitia Jones and Leah Brennen; 17 grandsons: Ashley Bethel, Arthur, Albert, and Ashley Jones, Ron , Aaron and Reyley Jones, Leonardo and Leo Jones, Maxwell Michael and Mithchell Jones, Keith and Kevin Jones, Maceo, Caleb and Adrian Jones; 34 great grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 34 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends including: Rose Rahming, Aida, Linda Patrice and Lois Jones and Janet Maycock.
Realtives and friends may their respects at Yager Funeral Home & Crematorium, Queen’s Highway on Friday from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
