Funeral Service for the late Georgina Louise Whitfield, aged 87 years of Yamacraw Beach Drive, and formerly of Roses, Long Island, will be held on Saturday, 21st January, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, Mt. Rose Avenue. Archdeacon Kingsley Knowles will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Left to cherish her fond memories are One Son: Dr. Patrick Whitfield. Adopted Children: Trevor Johnson, Canon Basil and Sonia Tynes. Two Sisters: Alice Johnson, Lady Alicia (Sir Cyril) Fountain. Three Brothers: Sidney (Louella) Whitfield, Peter (Marie) Whitfield, Sister in law Lady Naomi Whitfield. One Aunt: Alicia Thompson. Eight Grandchildren: Charnette (Juan) Thompson, Natika Whitfield, Patrick Damien Whitfield , Saadia Whitfield, Jason Whitfield, Perez Whitfield, Makeda Whitfield, Myra Whitfield. Great Grandchildren: Jonathan & Jeffrey Thompson, Andre & Patrick Whitfield, Lia Rolle, Jordan & Jayden Whitfield, Auri Whitfield . Nephews: Gregory Rahming, Troy McNeil, Kenneth, Paul, Robert, Geoffrey and Joey Wallace-Whitfield, Julian and William Fountain. Nieces: Michelle Simmons, Justina Wallace-Whitfield, Merle Bethell, Cecile Fountain, Kayla Marshall and Karen Grant.
