Memorial Service for the late Nora Louise Dean Dorsett will be held at The East Street Gospel Chapel on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Service for the late Nora Louise Dean Dorsett, aged 94 years of #6 Dorsett Drive, Bamboo Town, will be held on Sunday, 22nd January, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Christian Life Center, John F. Kennedy Drive. Pastor Rex Major and Pastor Tom Roberts will officiate. Interment will follow in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
She was predeceased by her mother: Ethel F. Rolle of Mt. Thompson Exuma, father: Arnold Dean of Delaporte and husband: Neville Dorsett, 3 sisters: Mae Dean Cooper, Mavis Dean Gonzales and Natalie Dean Higgs.
Her survivors include 9 children: Patrick Rahming, Bernard “Porky” Dorsett, Elder Arnold Dorsett, Philip Dorsett, Pastor Edmund Dorsett, Camille Dorsett Wilson, Nurse Elaine Dorsett Poitier of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. June Wilson and Ardette Dorsett Gartner of Montreal Canada; 24 grandchildren: Anne Rahming Jovanovic of Ottawa,Canada, Mwale and Dylan-John Rahming of Montreal, Canada, Bernard “Patches”, Jamaine , Khiwan and Damaal Dorsett, Renee Mussington, Dr. Tiadra Dorsett-Johnson, Arend Dorsett, and Dr. Gerrianne Hale of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mario and Philip Dorsett Jr., Dr. Daria Dorsett, Anna, Jill and April Wilson, Jehu of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Erin Poitier of Ft. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians #34 Nassau Street, on Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. and at the Center on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
