DR. HAYWARD EUSTACE ROMER, age 67 years of #359 Easter Avenue, Freeport, Grand Bahama and formerly of Bailey Town, Bimini a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and dentist died at the Rand Memorial Hospital, Freeport, Grand Bahama on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
Dr. Romer is a graduated from Howard University School of Dentistry in 1980 and has served in several capacities at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Nassau, New Providence. The Grand Bahama community is deeply saddened at the loss of Dr. Romer.
He is survived by his wife: Ellen Romer; son: Christian Romer; daughters: Nahdia Swaby, Kahrin Prince and Ashley Lowe; sons-in-law: Jamaal Swaby, Michael Prince and Desmond Lowe; daughter-in-law: Danielle Romer; grandchildren: Ayannah Prince, Cassidy Swaby, Marcus Romer, Aleah Prince and Isabelle Swaby; sister: Edith Romer-Johnson; brothers: Alfred Clarke, Crestwell Romer, Granville Romer, Kendal Romer and Justin Romer; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Dr. Romer’s funeral service is tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Pro-Cathedral of Christ the King, East Atlantic Drive and Pioneer’s Way, Freeport, Grand Bahama and Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Bailey Town, Bimini.
