Bruce H. Saunders, 73
of Bay Street Harbour Island, Eleuthera, who died in Harbour Island June 17th, will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church Harbour Island. Father Henry Osagwu will officiate and interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery Harbour Island, Eleuthera.
Pre-deceased by his wife: Dorothy Saunders
Left to cherish his memories are his Step-children: Nancy and Paulamae Johnson and Anastacia Lewis; Step grand-children: Darlene Lewis-Chase, Terah Black, Scott Lewis, McClain, Martin Hudson, Vashti, Laura, Roseanne Carey, Kai, Kiplin, Tamel, Khristen and Jay Todd; Brothers: Paul and Romel Percentie, Tony and Valerie Percentie, Samuel and Gloria, Raymond and Peter Percentie, Godfrey E. (Darcy) Saunders of Bozeman Monrana, Bob T. (Miriam) Saunders and Shortie Williams; Sisters: Cathy Percentie, Bernice and Richard Johnson, Eunice T. Saunders of Palm Bay Florida, Carolyn A. Saunders, Lester of Atlanta Georgia and Calesti L.(Jay) Black-Lundy of Vero Beach Florida; and a host of Nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; Aunts: Stephenia Pratt, Olivia Parkinson, Genevie Strachan and Vera Smith; In-laws: Francis Bullard, Maida Smith, Bernadette Johnson, Bernadine Higgs, Bishop Samuel and Betsy Higgs, Joseph and Ferris Higgs and Dencil Higgs; Cousins: Ronnie and Elma Roberts, Tony Roberts, Linda, Brenne, Gary, James, Lukie, Cathy, Adrine, Danny and Jason Cartwright; and a host of other relatives and friends including: the entire community of Harbour Island Eleuthera.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at THE CHAPEL OF MEMORIES THE NEW COMMONWEALTH FUNERAL HOME INDEPENDENCE DRIVE Friday 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon and at the church Friday in Harbour Island from 8:30 p.m. to service time on Saturday.
