Funeral Service for Prince Alfred Burrows age 73 of Taurus Ave who died on February 20, 2017 will be held on Saturday March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Missionary Baptist Church, Faith United Way. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. William Thompson assisted by Other Ministers. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Old Trail Road.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 46 years, Evangelist, EleanorBurrows nee Rolle, three sons, Romell, Zhivargo and Lawrence Burrows, two daughters, Samantha Forbles and Kisha Roache, eleven grandchildren, Jamal, Stephan, Aaron, Jr. Abraham, Ethan, Justin, Kevin, Aaronique, Lakeisha, Dontasha, Catherine; three (3) brothers, Neville Leroy and Raymond- predeceased, Earnest Kirkwood “E.K”. George and Danny Burrows; five (5) sisters, Shirley Clarke, Susanna Barr and Joycentina Scott, Miriam Burrows, New York (predeceased) and Victoria Adglar Sands; one son-in-law, Aaron Forbes, Sr.; three (3) daughters-in-law, Donna, Keisha and Charmaine Burrows; thirteen Brothers-in-law, Apostle J.B. Sands, Rev. Frankie Scott, George Barr, Charles, Hamrick, Christopher, Elvis and Paul Rolle, Solomon Strachan, Godfrey Sweeting, Rudolph Hart, James Brown and John Cherelus; ten (10) sister-in-laws, Donalee, Satera, Erica Burrows, Deaconess Theresa Strachan, Margaret Sweeting, Glendora Hart, Archerlean Brown, Miriam Cherelus, Joyann Dean and Barbara Rolle; twenty (20) nephews, Roston Sands, Fedor Sands of South Andros, Harrington Moss, Alexander Brown of Grand Bahama, Dwight Armbrister, Michael Smith of California, Terrance Brown, Darcy Williams, Elvis Barr, Frankie Scott, Keith, Kevin, Deon, Ian, Coren, Leroy, Jr., Michael, Danny Jr, Devon and Raymonte Burrows; sixteen (16) nieces, Annmarie Moore, Monique Banks of New York,Melinda Smith, Desiree Bain, Anishka Edgecombe, Felicia Blair, Francina Greene, Frankcoya Scott, Lanaya, Rayasja, Rayshanta, Levessa, Leandra, Toni, Danesha and Derene Burrows, forty (40) grandnieces and nephews; other Relatives and Friends including: Bertymae, Bleava Bevans Burrows, Hubert Grant, Earnest Knowles, William Allan, Tony Thompson, NedyHinsay, John Bain Reckley, Elvis, John Brown, Jessie Paul and many others. The entire Burrows Family of Little Creek Andros, Henry Farrington, The Bevans Family of Little Creek Andros, The Ministry of Environmental Health, The Ministry of Tourism. Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
