Memorial Service for Diane Susan Turnquest, age 70 years of Cable Beach Castles, will be held on Saturday March 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at The New Providence Community Church, Blake Road. Officiating will be Pastor Matthew Sweeting.

She leaves behind her sisters: Denise and Deby Nash; son Derek Thompson (Tomico), grandson: Tarrio; aunt: Violet Hudlin; neices: Wendy Bastian, Amy Simmons, Jessica, Amanda, Ashlie and Theidra Thompson; nephews: Michael Capt Marico Capt Joel, Brent and Roberto Thompson and Akeen Johnson; brothers-in-law: Austin, Bruno, James (Skiddo) Gregory and Robert Thompson; sisters- in- law: Anne, Nora, Wendy, Pamela and Therese Thompson; close friends: Sue Riding, Pennie Baldacci, Helen Albury, the loving community of Gregory Town, Eleuthera, and her extended family at New Providence Community Church, NEMA, the Bahamas Red Cross (Caroline Turnquest) and the Rising Star Salon; numerous god children including: Pamela Gibson, Wendy Bastian and Juan(JJ) Thompson and Linda Smith; other relatives including: Veronica Daniels and family, The family of the late Mildred Thompson, Jacqueline Gibson and the Staff of The Ministry of Tourism (Eleuthera) and the entire Gregory Town Community.

Special thanks to: the caring nurses and doctors of the Intensive Care Unit at Doctors Hospital, nurse: Doretha Miller, and the compassionate nursing staff of Angels Elite, who stayed with Diane to the end.

In keeping with Diane's wishes, there will be no visitation

A second ceremony will be held in Eleuthera at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets.
