A resident of Shirley Slope will be held at Grace Community Church, Palmetto Village, on Saturday, 18th March, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Emeritus Rex Major, Senior Pastor Lyall Bethel, Associate Pastor Leroy Hanna, Pastor Emeritus Marcel Lightbourne and Elder Cyril Peet. Interment: Ebenezer Cemetery, Shirley Street.
He was loved and will be missed by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie, Four Sons: Gregory (Ola), Ricardo (Jennifer), Timothy (Kenreese), and Vaughn (Norma). Four Daughters: Ramona (Cyril), Joy (Gregory), Melodie (Leroy) and Daneen (Robert). 1 Adopted Daughter: Dale. Twenty-seven Grandchildren: Danielle, Gregory II, Eboni (Jason), Mathenee, Cyril II (Shakia), Meaghan, Sadye, Derek II (Bethany), Raquelle, Ria, Rhondi, Ronquil (Chris), Ramanda (Geoff), Patrice, Lyric (Giorgio), Duet (Lydia), Leah, Jordan (Jennifer), Adam (Stevette), Jonathan, Michael (Jessica), Cathryn, Jacquelyn, Brittany (André) Jacinda, Bronté, Robert II. Three Adopted Grandchildren: Kim (Juergen), Kerri (John), and Westte (Windy). Twenty-three Great Grandchildren: Marley, Hendrix, Ivorí, Tyler, Laron II, Caleb, Cailyn, Jayden, Amber, Madalynn, Malia, Ricardo, Cadence, Carter, Jazz, Melody, Layla, Landon, Saraya, Aiden, Lilo, Jude, Xavier. Eight Adopted Great Grandchildren: Judah, Jasper, Isabel, Golda, Emmanuel, Zaiah, Saeyen, and Abishai. Four Brothers: Harry (Marilyn), Thomas (Kathy), David, and Basil. Six Sisters: Doris, Alice, Ann (Roopnarine), Chloe (Raphael) Eileen and Dawn (Gary). Five Brothers-in-law: Pastor Emeritus Rex Major (Doreen), Perry (Rosemarie), Basil (Phyllis), Michael (Joan) and Gary (Vidlalia) Knowles. Six Sisters-in-law: Angela Treco, Joan “Vannie”, Yvonne and Marlena Knowles, Lois Hollis and Christine Major. Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets, on Friday March 17, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the church on Saturday March 18, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
