Funeral service for
Emmanuel Hartman Curry Sr., 82

a resident of Grosham Close & formerly of Murphy Town, Abaco, will be held at Zion Baptist Church, East & Shirley Streets, on Sunday 2nd April, 2017 at 2:30 p.m.  Officiating will be Rev. T. G. Morrison, assisted by Rev. Anthony Sampson & other Associate Ministers, Deacon & Evangelists.  Interment follows in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads.

He was predeceased by a host of relatives including his wife Patricia Louise Curry; his parents Joseph and Natterly Curry and most recently his aunt Issiemae Dawkins. His memory will live on in: His children – Emmanuel Jr., Christine (Keith) Cleare, Lynn, ASP Roosevelt (Joeanna) Curry, Bettymae (Colin) Pickstock, Marvin (Yvonne), Kevin, Kirkwood, Derick (Min. Shacarra), Tamara, Tanya, Jillian (Zaid) Salaam, Percival, Theodore, Raquel and PC 3652 Chris Curry; His grandchildren – Charlice, Shenique and Trevor Dawkins, Karlester and Kellen Rolle, Shana Delancy, Kyria, Mya, Jaimie, Sophia, Staceyann, Katie, Christina, Dericka, Tegan, Karlisha, Donataya, Daron, Jerome Wilkinson, Omar, Travis, Torianno, Thvough, Colin Pickstock Jr., Keith Jr. and Kyle Cleare, Dericko, Caleb, Daniel, Tre, Roosevelt Jr., Percival Jr., Kirkwood Jr., Derick Jr. Nolan Terrel and Jessica McFarland; His great grandchildren – Jamaal,  Daron Jr., Tylah, Taliah and Oneisha Curry, Kellen Jr., K’Lyn and Kellon Rolle, Krista Delancy, Timesha Clarke, and Tiana and Ty’a-Lynn  Dawkins. His nieces and nephews – Micheal, Cleveland, Alonza, Eugene, Dereck, Joel, Sarah, Priscilla, Audrey, Kateca, Alexio, Micheal Jr., Reeshera, Sheneka, Devaughn, Aramena, Cheryl and Lamar Hanna, Brittney and Jaiden; His Sisters in law – Margaret McKenzie, Eugenia Hepburn, Ida Bain and Cynthia Johnson; His God Children – O’Neil Collie, De’shawn Wells and Charmine Hepburn; Host of other relatives and friends including – Nell Ferguson, Annette Heild,  Hon. Renaldo Curry, Berkley Johnson, Elsie Knowles, Rev. T.G. Morrison, Rev. Anthony Sampson and the entire Staff of Zion Baptist Church, the Grosham Close neighbourhood of Bel-Air Estates, Pastor and Mrs. E. D. Clarke, the Grants Town SDA family and the entire Zion Baptist Church family; Special Thanks to – Dr. Ablack and the team of doctors at PMH, the nursing staff of Male Surgical two and Male Medical one at PMH. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 9-5:00 p.m. on Saturday & on Sunday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until service time.
