Funeral Service for Maxwell Eugene ‘MJ’ Holbert age 19 of Montell Heights who died on April 23, 2017 will be held on Saturday May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Missionary Baptist Church, Independence Drive. Officiating will be Overseer Randolph Deleveaux , assisted by Rev. Dr. K. Lockwood Deleveaux and Rev. Jeffrey Deleveaux and other Ministers. Interment will follow in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen and Spikenard Roads.

Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. to service time.
Funeral Service for Registered Nurse Janet Wanita Forbes-Fowler age 55 of Kool Acres who died on April 10, 2017 will be held on Saturday May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Market Street. Officiating will be Rev. Wesley C. Thompson assisted by Rev. Garth Johnson, Rev. Nelson McFall and Rev. Calvin Rolle. Cremation will follow.
