Funeral Service For

James Samuel Munroe, Sr., 90
a resident of Forbes Lane, Nassau Village & formerly of Southside, Exuma, will be held at Mission Through Faith Church of God, Soldier Road, on Saturday, 27th May, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Benjamin Gibson & Rev. Basil Damianos, assisted by Rev. Wade Seymour. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

Precious memories will always linger in the hearts of the his family; Two Sons: James Jr. & Harry Munroe; Four Daughters: Patricia Warner, Brenda Bullard, Laverne & Sybil Munroe; Four Brothers: Wilfred Ferguson, Alfred Sr., Arlington, and Ernest Munroe; Three Sisters: Curleen Munroe Major, Nathlee Munroe Evans, Myrtis Munroe Deveaux; Sister-in-law: Millicent Munroe; Grandchildren: Devaughn, Chanelle Munroe, Antoine (Abigail) Munroe, Nashira (Shavaha) Johnson, Nickia (Omar) Storr, Ricardo (Shandera) Belle, Renardo Belle, Crystal (Kevin) Green, Vanda Sands, Javargo Sands Sr.; Great-Grandchildren: Aaliyah Johnson, Saniyah & Mykah Storr, Devaughn Munroe Jr., Shantia, Rashan & Ricardo Belle Jr., Shania & Ashley Major, Kevinique, Precious & Nathaniel Green, Mario Brown, Kevin Buchanan, and Javargo Sands Jr.; Adopted Children: Ten (10); Nieces (45) Forty-five; Nephews (43) Forty-three; Numerous Grand Nieces and Nephews; Numerous Relatives and Friends including but not limited to: Deangelo Ferguson, Alfred Styles, Leotha Styles Williams, Lyndon Curtis, Karen Bonimy, Mildred Hepburn, Roslyn Johnson, Crystal Forbes, The Holbert Family, The Connolly Family, The Stubbs Family, The Taylor Family, The Demeritte Family, The Curtis Family, Mission Through Faith Church of God Family, Friends of The Southside Exuma Community, Friends of The Nassau Village Community, Maryann Claridge and Family, Bahamas Customs and many others too numerous to mention.

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
