Semi-Military Funeral Service for

Comrade Reverend Matthias Egbert Munroe, 93

of #9 Canterbury Park, and formerly of Duncan Town, Ragged Island, will be held on Saturday, 27th May, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Bahamas Faith Ministries, Carmichael Road. Rev. Dr. Timothy Stewart-Senior Pastor Bethel Baptist Church, assisted by Associate Ministers of Bethel Baptist Church and Pastor Kersch Darville, Fellowship Pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries (BFM) will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

Left to mourn with cherish memories are: seven daughters: Shelia Francis, Verdell Johnson, Suzanne Hall, Deborah Munroe-Bailey, Christine Docemo, Adina and Vanessa Munroe; two sons: Oscar and Garth Munroe; grandchildren: Vania Volmy, Julie Stuart, and Cytella Francis, Wentworth Johnson, Sr. and Nekara Johnson, Anthea Bedford, Darrol and Theron Hall, Suzette Moss; Kevin, Chamsie, Matthew, Amanda, and Devina Munroe, Matthias and Charles Bailey, Jr. (USA), Akinyi and Latara Bailey (USA); Garth Munroe, Jr., Shamron, Crystal and Andrew (Andy) Munroe, Chario (Myles Munroe, Jr.) and Charissa Munroe; great-grandchildren: Wentworth Johnson Jr., and Fantafhia Johnson; Daria, Dasia and Eryn Hall; Carlyle Volmy; Johnathan, Nathan, and Ethan Stuart; great-greatgrandson: Omaria Johnson: Sons-in-law, Pastor Henry Francis, Hosea Johnson, Charles Bailey (USA), Ade Docemo; daughters-in-laws: Brendalee and Christine Wallace-Munroe (USA); sister, Jane Adderley and family; nieces and nephews of the Late Maude Maycock (sister); nieces and nephews of the Late Emma Pempleton (sister), Conn., USA); Brother: Ano Munroe(predeceased) and a host of other relatives. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians #34 Nassau Street, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
