Funeral service for Samuel Edwin Miller, 66 yrs., a resident of Peter Street, will be held at Grant’s Town Seventh-day Adventist Church, Wellington Street, on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Ewen, assisted by Pastor Melvin Lewis, Pastor Larry Greene & Pastor Kenny Deveaux. Interment follows in The Eastern Cemetery, Shirley Street.
He leaves to cherish his memory, five children: Brian, Tezanne, Samitria, Adam, and Daniel, (Sean predeceased him); grandchildren: Sean Jr; Carliysa and Seanique Taylor; Aiden Miller; Montez Johnson; five brothers: Edison, Artis, Bradley, Ted, and Harry of 'Tampa Florida; three sisters: Walia Rashad, Carolyn Miller of Washington, D.C., and Marjorie Mitchell of Pembroke Pines, Florida; two brothers-in-law: Dr. Munir Rashad, and Lester Mitchell; three sisters-in-law: Anna Colebrooke and Ann-Marie; one uncle: James Miller of Lowe Sound, Andros; three aunts: Mary Russell, Helen Hall, and Genevia Lewis of Miami, Florida. Friends may pay their last respects at Demerittes Funeral Home, Market Street, from 9-5:00 p.m. on Friday & on Sunday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
