Full Military Funeral Service for Ret. Sgt. Wellington Kelly, age 77 of Providence Avenue, Chippingham and formerly of Port Nelson, Rum Cay who died October 25th, 2017, will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Church of God, Ida Street off Robinson Road. Officiating will be Pastor Sherwin Smith, assisted by Father Stephen Davies. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
He is survived by his Son: Kevin Kelly (Candice King); Daughter: Anastasia Dames-Kelly; 3 Sisters: Nora Kelly-Pinder, Ethamae Kelly-Major & Charlotte Kelly; 6 Grandchildren: Brian, Brickell, Nivek, Kelliah & Krystal Kelly & Dwayne Darling; 1 Great Grand-Daughter: Sophia Kelly; Sister-In-Law: Phyllis Kelly; 19 Nieces: Terry Strachan, Leana, Fanny, Debbie, Jacqueline, Joycelyn, WDC 2025 Joan, Makeba, Michelle, Nicola, Arnita, Deborah, Stephanie, Suzzette, Florence, Lashantia, Denise, Ruthmae & Tanya; 14 Nephews: Marvick, Ellie, Denroy, Raynard, Dwayne, Christopher, John, Micheal, Rodney, Grimmick, Navada, Cornelius, Jerome & Kendal; Step-Grandchildren: Deron & Dominic Mckenzie; And a host of other Relatives and Friends including: Thelma Carey, Beverly, Berly Hyler, Gertrude, Sheryl, Tamara Armbrister, Keithell Culmer, Lateisha Symonette, Pearl Douglas, Arlington Butler, Alonzo Major, Joseph St. Jean, Joseph Harding, Alison, Dorothy Taylor and Latisha Curry.
Friends may pay their last respects at The Paul Farquharson Centre, Police Headquarters, East Street Hill from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and again on Friday from 10 a.m. at the church until service time.
