Funeral Service for the Late Valban “Blatch” Roach Jr., 52 years of Coleman’s Lane, off Kemp Road, who died peacefully at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Friday, 3rd November, 2017, will be held at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Blue Hill Road South on Saturday, 18th November, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Bishop Carrington Pinder assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.

Left to cherish his memories are his Wife: Effie Alexandria Roach; 1 Daughter: Roquell Roach; 1 Grandson: Valentino Jacques; 1 Adopted Son: Valdez Ingraham; 5 Brothers: Ulrick, Anthony and Michael (Linda) Roach and Kevin and Wayne Woodside; 9 Sisters: Patcina Rolle, Valerie (Demond) Saunders, Judy (Barry) Davis, Zelderine (Rudolph) Pinder, Jennifer Cares, Sharon and Marsha Woodside and Kim and Terrelle Roach; Step Mother: Patricia Roach; Mother-In-Law: Nathalie Morley; 5 Aunts: Beatrice Stubbs, Coralee Roach, Hazel Hamilton, Lillian Rahming, Emmeretta Cartwright and Corlet Ferguson; 3 Uncles: Wilfred Stubbs, Wilfred (Angie) Ferguson and Anthony (Jennymae) Ferguson; 2 Sisters-In-Law: Patrice (Earl) Lawrence and Verla (Omar Sr.) Pratt; 2 Brothers-In-Law: Christopher (Nakeisha) Morley Sr. and Anton (Kayla) Morley; Nieces Including: Latanya, Mellissa, Dominique, Stephanie, Allyssa, Maguel, Brittany, Paulisha and Michaella Latoysa Walkes, Tracy, Nicole, Juliette, Krystyn, De’Andrea, Barnique, Kaytrielle, Zaria, Kaneisha, Nakerisa, Nakaya, Vermara, Kaytonique, Kaytrielle, Rashay, Kaylia and Dana; Nephews Including: Devon, Ricardo, Michael Jr., Kendrick, Raghib, Erwin, Cordero, Christopher Jr., Nachristian, Kakeisan, Donny, Omar Jr. and Kaython; 8 Godchildren: 24 Grand nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends including: Edward Roach, the staff of Male Medical 1 & 2 and the Intensive Care Unit at P.M.H., Godfrey Harding and Family, the Kemp Road Community, Uriah McPhee Primary School Family, Beaches and Park Family, “Roots” Junkanoo Group Family, Bahamas International Foods Family, St. Mark’s Church Family, and the New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church Family.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Grace Funeral Home, #36 Rosetta Street, Palmdale, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
