Funeral Service for
Erma Louise Carroll-Burrows, 103
of Young Street, will be held at Grant’s Town Seventh-day Adventist Church, Wellington Street, on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be Pastors Leonard A. Johnson, Paul Scavella, Eric D. Clarke and Mark Ewen and Elder Michael McCoy. Interment will follow at the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
Erma Burrows was predeceased by her siblings: Albertha, Leanora and Albert C. Smith, Adriana Miller Moncur (Auntie Addy), Celia and Stanley Carroll, Wilgar Sturrup, Richard, Vivian, Horace, Lorenz and Ada Carroll.
Left to cherish her memories are: Children: Joseph C. Delaney, Janet A. Delaney, Anthony T. Delaney and Patrick A. Delaney; Adopted son: Warren Rolle; Adopted daughter: Esme Dawkins-Harris; God daughters: Lue Ferguson and Anne Knowles: Grandchildren: Daniel Penn, Diane Burrows, Melanie Burrows-Jones, Patrice Burrows-Charlton, Pastor Andrew Burrows, Marilyn Culmer-McLeod, Prescola Davis, Marisa Rolle, Adrian Delaney, Dominica Delaney-McQueen, Darcy Delaney, Danika Delaney, Anthony Delaney II, Aisha Delaney, Nicole Woodard, Camille Delaney-McNeil; Great Grandchildren: Lydia Penn-Bell, LaKishna Davis-Taylor, Chavaz Davis, Alexis Davis, Cleveland Rolle Jr, Clarissa Rolle, Cletrea Rolle, Andre Delaney, Anielle Delaney, Kaili Delaney, Walson Burrows, Rodriquez Williams, Demiko Burrows, Reshad Butler, Jason Burrows, Arthurnique Jones, Orlando Jr. and Chade Forbes, Chakia and Kenaz Charlton, Zandrea, Talia and Andreas Burrows, Micah McNeil, Alayah Autumn Rose Delaney. Great Great Grandchildren: Taj, Kaylah, Sapphire, Samari, Omari, Nessiah, and Arianna. She is also survived by a host of Nieces including: Rowena Wilson, Ismaline Ferguson, Patricia Thomas, Dorothy Moss, A. Pamela Thompson; Marie, Amy Sturrup and CeceliaSturrup-Hanna and Nephews including: Rev. Dr. Gilbert Smith, Stanley Sturrup, Jean-Claude and Phillip Sturrup and a host of other relatives including her Young Street family.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
