Funeral Service for

EVERETT CORNELIUS TURNQUEST, 84

of Deadman’s Cay, Long, will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church, Buckley’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Rev’d. Fr. Alvardo Adderley and Rev’d. Fr. Richard Wood. Interment will follow in St. John’s Church Cemetery, Buckley’s, Long Island.

Left to forever cherish his fond memories are his loving wife of 47 years: Alvira “Betty” Turnquest; children and their spouses: Thyrone (Jovonne) and Ginger (Wayde) Turnquest; grandchildren: Thyrone Adam, Tobias, Brie, Brye and Sinai Turnquest; numerous step-grandchildren including: Dillon Turnquest, Summer and Savannah Deal; brothers: Harrod, Reuben and Jefferson Turnquest; sister: Agatha Sands; brothers-in-law: Radcliffe Ritchie, Edgar Pinder, Errol Bethel, Mark Thompson, Elias and Carlos Cartwright; sisters-in-law: Nora, Dorothy, Lorraine and Betty Turnquest, Amerol Ritchie, Ardina Pinder, Ingrid Bethel, Winifred Thompson, Diane and Bernadette Cartwright; numerous nephews including: Godfrey, Lloyd, Peter, David, Michael, Douglas, Audley, Jason, Sean and Antonio Turnquest, Ken, Eron, Derek and George Sands, Tyrone, Stephen and Perry Thompson; numerous nieces including: Janet and Cheryl “Honey” Rolle, Judy Turnquest, Catherine Lowe, Marylynn Major, Charlene Gause, Emma Turnquest, Velma, Esther, Barbara and Karen Turnquest, Aspacia Fox, Deborah Cartwright, Rhondi Thompson, Laverne Carroll, Meteddies Sands, Princess Lee, Janice Farrington, Patrice Major, Erica Hanna, Jessica and Judith Turnquest; numerous grand nieces and nephews including: Rev’d. Fr. Alvardo Adderley; pet dog: Duchess; other relatives and friends including: Lynn ”Papa Gal” Wells, Eugene “Essie” and Wendell Turnquest, Agnes Turnquest, Lionel Dean, Emma Wells, Elva Ritchie, Jacqueline Turnquest, Margo John, Raphael and Chloe Cartwright, Emile and Cameron Knowles and Family, Leslie and Joan Darville, Vernita and Tiny Taylor, George and Gina Wells and Maurice Minnis; Staff of the Packing House, The St. John’s Anglican Church family, The Entire Community of Long Island and many others too numerous to mention. Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets, on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at St. John’s Anglican Church, Buckley’s Long Island on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
