PATRIARCH ELIJAH JAMES
DANIELS B.E.M., 85
of Dolphin Drive, Highland Park and formerly of Old Bight Cat Island, will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 at 10 a.m at Zion Baptist Church, East and Shirley Streets. Officiating will be Rev T.G. Morrison, assisted by Bro. Dwayne Williams and other ministers of the clergy. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley; his children: Mark, Lanier, Carlos and Dawn (Philip); Nine grandchildren: Lesvie (and Jamal Archer), Dr. Azaria Clare, Lisa Daniels, Samantha Auvinen-Daniels, Sebastian Auvinen-Daniels, Kristy Daniels, Aina Clare, Danielle Clare; One great-grandson: Joshua Archer; and a host of relatives a friends including: Philip Barton, Jamal Archer, Calvin Johnson, Reuben Daniel Jr., of Pontiac, Michigan, Danny Gene Daniel of Pontiac Michigan, Marion and Vonne Aniel of Pontiac Michigan, Patrick Fernander, Paula (Velma) Fernander and Erma Ifill, David, Eric, Eugene, Derek, Ronald, Christopher, Hensil, Ronald Pratt, Lavan, Sherry, Charlton, Deborah, Cleotha and Tasha Pratt, Hestine Adderley, Mavis Pierre, Mizpah Bannister, Zilpha Burrows, Carolyn Knowles, Inez Gibson, Amos Burrows Jr., Sheila Baptiste, Mark Daniels, Rudell Bain, Rosie Rolle, Princess Styles, Thelma Carey, Freeman, Beauford, Jefferson and Alfred Daniels,. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians #44 Nassau Street on Friday from 10am to 6pm. and at the church on Saturday 9:00 a.m. until service time.
