Home Going Celebration for
Mr. Frederick “Fuzz” Ezekiel Pratt, 73
of New Bight, Cat Island and formerly of Fox-dale Subdivision, New Providence, The Bahamas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, 7th April, 2018 at St. John’s Native Baptist Church, Meeting Street, New Providence. Officiating will be Reverend Dr. Carrington Pinder assisted by Rev’d Vernice Storr, Senior pastor of Mt. Sanai Native Baptist Church, New Bight, Cat Island. On Sunday 8th April, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. another Home Going Celebration will be commemorated at the Mt. Sanai Native Baptist Church, New Bight, Cat Island. Officiating will be Pastor Vernice Storr assisted by other ministers of the Gospel.
Interment will follow in the New Bight Public Cemetery, Cat Island. “Fuzz” as he was affectionately called, was employed at Batelco in New Providence, from 1962 until his retirement in 1997, where he relocated to Cat Island soon thereafter. He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Francis Virginia Pratt, of Devil’s Point, Cat Island. 4 Sons: Frederick, Trevor and Javon Pratt and Stephon Fynes; 3 daughters: Anastacia and Kimetria Pratt and Maria Williams; 5 grandsons: Markell, Trevez, Tyler, and Nathaniel Pratt, and Bomani Burrows; grand-daughter: Tyler Marie Pratt; great-grand-daughter: Salease Fynes; Step-children and step-grand children, namely Karen Rolle, Kevinique Johnson, and Amethyst Strachan; 2 sisters: Pandora Ingraham and Patricia Cox; 2 daughters-in-law: Maxine and Elizabeth Pratt; and a host of other relatives and friends, Namely Mr. Albert Bowe. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects, in New Providence, in the “Chapel of Memories, St. Ambrose Funeral Home,” 244 Market Street and Oxford Avenue on Thursday 5th April, 2018 and Friday 6th April, 2018 between the hours of 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. In Cat Island on Saturday 7th April, 2018 in the foyer of Mt. Sanai Native Baptist Church, from 7:00 p.m. until service time.
