Memorial Service for Rose Mae Thompson will be held (TODAY) Thursday April 19, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Highbury Park.
Funeral Service
Funeral service for Rose Mae Thompson, age 81 years, of Thompson Street, who died at her residence on Sunday April 15, 2018, will be held on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 2:30 p.m., at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Shirley and Church Streets. Officiating will be Canon Norman D. Lightbourne assisted by Canon Crosley Walkine and the Rt. Rev’d Gilbert A. Thompson. Interment will follow in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Church Street.

Her memories will forever linger in the hearts of her beloved son: Roswell Thompson; Beloved sisters: Eva Hilton, Octavia Johnson, Astrid Brooks, Cynthia Donaldson, Leonie McCartney, Paula Holder, Gwen Turner and Lorraine Burrows; Siblings: Anthony Skeebo Roberts (Gina), Michael Adderley (Monalisa), Oliver Adderley (Veronica), Pastor Kenneth Adderley (Bernadette), Carlton Adderley (Daphne), Angelo Adderley (Hillary), Trevor Adderley (Sonia), Blake Adderley, Sidney Adderley and Raymond Miller, Gilda Adderley, Iris Adderley, Angela Jones, Paulette Adderley Zonicle, Marge Ferguson (Nelson), Ingrid Kerr (Raymond), Willadale Granger (Glen), Eyvonne Dendy (Larry), Myrtle Smith (Henry), Georgina Saunders (Leslie) and Tonjia Burrows (Lester); Sisters-in-law: Monica and Pamela Adderley; Brother-in-law: Stanley Burrows; Numerous Godchildren; Other relatives and friends including: The family of the late Nathan Thompson of Deep Creek, Eleuthera, The families of the late Eva Lightbourne, Althea and Donzel Huyler, Robert and Samuel Isaacs, Lilla Mitchell and the family of Alicia Lady Fountain, the Rt. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to The Anglican Retreat Centre (Mt. Olivet Retreat at Bishop’s Lodge) or you may also wish to support The Anglican Retreat Centre Project by donating stones in memory of your loved ones or in thanksgiving for a special event in your life.

There will be NO Viewing at the Church.

Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes and Crematorium at Ernest and York Streets (TODAY) Thursday April 19, 2018, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
