Last rites for Matriarch Florence Smith age 92 of Stuart Manor, Exuma will be held on Sunday August 12th, 2018 12 noon at Zion Baptist Church East & Shirley Street. Officiating will be Rev T.G. Morrison assisted by other ministers of the gospel. Interment will follow in Lakeview Gardens, Gladstone Road.
She is survived by 3 Sons: Leslie & Carol Smith and Nathan Ferguson, 4 daughters: Susan Gordon, Patsy McDonald, Janet Miller, Nancy McKenzie, 42 grandchildren, 46 great grands, 9 great great- grands 4 Son in Law: Joel Gordon, Joel Miller, Calvin McDonald , and David Knowles. Adopted Son: Cedric Smith, Nephews: The Hon. Philip “Brave” Davis Leader of the Opposition, Alvin, Don Craig and Trevor Davis, Junior & Rolston Mckenzie, and Henry Smith, Nieces: Althea Knowles, Diana Davis, Mary Stuart, Vandalyn & Doramae McKenzie, EulaMae Mckenzie, Dolly Saunders, Helen Rolls, Freida Harris-Smith, Cynthia Smith, Magarita Hopkins and a host of other relatives and friends including Stuart Manor, Alexander & Curtis communities, the entire staff of P.M.H. F.M.S II, Gladstone Road & family, Al Gibson & Family, Norman Llyod & family, Rev. Adam Brown & family, Ellsie mae Smith & family, Roslyn Mckenzie & family, Rev. Leon Williams & family, Rev. The body will repose at Curtis Memorial Mortuary, on Friday, from 10:00 AM until 5:00PM, and at the church on Sunday from 10:00AM until service time.
