Funeral Service for Sivlean Clarita Brown age 71 of Melvern Road, Yellow Elder Gardens who died on August 12, 2018 will be held on Sunday August 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m at Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church, Prince Charles Drive. Officiating will be Pastor Leonardo Rahming assisted by Pastor Larry Green and other Ministers. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.


Her legacy lives on in the following persons: her husband of 46 years :Euthal Allen Brown, two daughters: Juliette Sands and Tennille Minnis, one brother: Ray Strachan, four grandchildren: Roderick Sands Jr., James Sands, Mya and Malia Minnis, one son in law: Roderick Sands Sr., one brother in law: James Brown, six sisters in law: Yvonne Brown, Miriam Carroll, Janice Brown, Dr. Doreen Brown, Eunice and Lucille Strachan adopted children: Warren and Gayle Farquson, numerous nieces and nephews:  Sivlean, Sharon, Helena, Marilyn, Brenda, Susan, Raquel, Glenroy, Hartman, Garth, Benjamin, Calvin, Sivle, Shannae, Algernon, Roger, Ray Jr., Garrett, Abdul, Nathaniel, Dion, Mario, Prescott, Valencia, Luvonne, Precious, Kirkland, Dedrie, Brehon, Gerald, Leslie, Joyann, Johnette and James, numerous cousins: Marina, Caroline, Elizabeth, Florence, Delcine, Olga, Teddy, Johnny, George, Delores, Brazil, Hubert, Christine, Deanne, Joseph, Grace, Chris and Betty; other relatives and friends :Patricia Sands, Margaret Thurston, Mazella Rahming, Hazel Cleare, Ernestine Miller, Curlene Clarke, Sister Young, Denise Russell, Verna Minnis, Laverne, Vanessa Ellis, Allison James, Edison Minnis, James and Alice Sands, Phillip Ramsey, Thomas Daxon, Erskine Oliver, Tamara andWhittington Dixon, Andy McKenzie, Tedwin Dorsett, Sidney Moncur, Mary Morris, Pearl Sylvester, Egbert and Cherrie Blackmore, Henry Morris, The Dialysis Center, St. James Masonic Lodge, The Management and staff of  Advanced Health Center, Bahamas Academy staff, Pastors Larry Green, Romel Dade and the Maranatha SDA Church family, Pastor Paul and Joan Scavella, The B.U.T retirees club, Pastor Hugh and Olga Roach, Cat Island Families of McDonalds, Knowles and Rolles and a host of other friends too numerous to mention.

Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Saturday from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m and on Sunday at the Church from 12:30 p.m until service time.
