Funeral Service for Victoria Burns age 87 of Abraham Street, White’s Addition who died on February 6, 2018 will be held on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bede’s Catholic Church, Sutton Street. Officiating will be Fr. Jude Muokwe, MSP. Interment will following in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen and Spikenard Roads.
She is survived by her sister-in-law; Carmetta Burns; four grandchildren, Bradley, Anthony, Sharonda and Georgette Glinton; ten great grandchildren; nieces and nephews including: Raymond Johnson, Basil Burns, Prince Timothy, Peggy Smith, Annamae Ferguson and Jestina Virgil; sixteen grandnieces and nephews and other relatives and friends including: Stephen and Doris Romer, Bubblin Cunningham, the Family of the Late Sylvia Moss and the Five Pound Lot Community.
Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. to service time.
