Mr. David Charles Foulkes, age 84 years, a resident of Hollywood, Florida and formerly of Nassau Bahamas, died in Hollywood, Florida on Tuesday, July 10th, 2018.
Funeral service will be held at Cosmopolitan Baptist Church 3003 NW 207th Street, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056, on Saturday July 14th, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Ricardo Peters assisted by Rev. Dr. Percy Ransom. Interment will follow in Fred Hunter’s Hollywood Memorial Gardens East, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood, Florida 33024.
He is pre-deceased by his sisters: Theresa Coakley, Hilda Etienne, and Althea Lewis; brothers: Erskine and Oscar;
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife: Monica Foulkes; daughters: Avanell Whymms (Garland), Dr. Monique Williams (Cecil), Dacia Foulkes; his only son: Vermonte David Foulkes (Yvoncia); precious grand-children: Valentino, Anthony, Lamonte, Chanelle, Giovanni and Zacharia; brother: Julius Foulkes ; nieces: Evangeline Jackson, Nancy Waller, Wendy Foulkes, Virginia Etienne, Dr. Donna Lewis, Michelle Lewis; nephews: Napoleon , Brian, Randy, Gareth , Dr. Dave, Basil Lewis; god-daughters: Grethel, Lenorece and Lenzetta, Chinyere; god-sons: Michael, Samuel, Devon; Other relatives and friends including: Myrtle Foulkes, S.O Evans, Dorothy and Enoch Henfield, Glendamae and Stanley Williams, Flosetta Johnson, Ivan and Bernie Thompson, Roscoe and Rosenell Thompson, Dwight and Joan Thompson, Bain Family, Rahming Family, Rolle Family, Duncombe Family, Miller Family ,Johnson Family, Hepburn Family, Cosmopolitan Baptist Church, Drs. and staff of Memorial Regional Hospital, Carnival Cruise Line family, and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
