Funeral service for Mavis May Martinborough, of Garden Hills #2, who died at her daughter’s residence in Freeport, Grand Bahama on Tuesday May 22, 2018, will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, East Shirley Street. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Anselm Russell assisted by Deacon Keith A. Roberts. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

Mavis was predeceased by her husband: Mr. Oswald Martinborough.

Left to cherish her memories are her Loving Children: Adelecia (Lisa) Martinborough-Campbell, Denshan, Elaine, Marlene, Anita, Errol and Pedro; son-in-law: Jamique Campbell Sr.; Grand Children: Verneka, Jamique Jr., Adell, Antholecia, Natasha, Hensley, Demsham Jr. Alex, Jamie, Peta-Gay, Orville, Jason, Safiya, Dionne, Kelly-ann, Danielle, Collins, Bridgette, Otis, Andaulie, Kemesha, Bryan and Jodikaye; Thirteen Great Grandchildren including: Tavari and Oriniek; Sisters: Marlene Lockhart and Enid Bryan (both of Manchester, England); Brother: Donald Bezek; Mother-in-law: Fredrica Martinborough; Brothers- in-law: Vernal, Edwin, Warren and William Martinborough and Rudolph Pratt; Sisters- in-law: Naomi Pratt, Martha Turnquest, Doreen Russell, Natalee Martinborough, Ena Robinson, Rhonda, Theresa and Abagail (Di) Martinborough; Adopted Daughters: Sharlene Thompson, Cynthia McKenzie, Ivymae Smith and Normanick Davis; Adopted Grandchildren: Marcus Moss, Edward Roache, Presious Rutherford and Ashanti Johnson; Numerous Nieces and Nephews including: Joy Mills; Close Friends: LeNora Archer and Gloria Harris; Numerous other Relatives and Friends including: Families of the Martinborough’s, Agatha Cartwright, The Archer Family, Grace Thompson, Angela Sands and Family, William Taylor, The Campbell Family (especially Elizabeth Campbell-Ferguson), Simeontae Taylor, The Royal Bahamas Police Force CDU Department of Freeport, Grand Bahama (especially Superintendent Brian Rolle); and many others.

Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes & Crematorium at Ernest and York Streets on Friday June 8, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday June 9, 2018 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
