Funeral Service for Josepha Henrietta Symonette Allen, age 59 of Aqua Drive, Tall Pines who died on Sunday, May 27th, 2018 will be held on Saturday, June 16th, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Living Waters Kingdom Ministries, Warren Street, Farrington Road. Officiating will be Pastor Basil Johnson and Pastor Generine Williams assisted by Pastor Toriano Lloyd. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, J. F. K. Drive.
She is survived by her 6 Children: Nioshi Symonette, Kenneth, Alvin, Lloyd, Kendra and Sadaiska
Allen; 2 Adopted Daughters: Zandricka and Kenice Bannister; 2 Brothers: Nathaniel and Jonathan Francis; 4 Sisters: EulaMae Parker, Patricia ‘Patsy’ Beckford, Drucilla Symonette and Linda Symonette Adderley; 17 Grandchildren: Waltera Symonette, Daniel Symonette, Devonya Butler, Tatiyanna Symonette, Ranecia Johnson, Alvin Allen Jr., Keon Allen, Keandre Thomas, Raeyan Cooper, Benjamin and Destiny Allen, Zhyon Wilson, Alexus, Akeem, Allayah and Alisha Davis and Kaylisa Bannister; 15 Nieces: Crystal Virgill, Latanya and Aldicka Francis, Nathia Pickering, Natalia, Natica, Natoya Symonette, Spenderica Dean, Tunyia Rolle, Alethia Cunningham, Ianthia, Ebony, Megan, Mahogany Beckford, and Percia Morley; 13 Nephews: Jamie and Alijah Beckford, Ryan and Dylan Beckford, Andy Francis, Geovanni Francis, Nathaniel Symonette, Hartman Rolle, Aaron and Donovan Ferguson, Bernard Kemp, Randolph and Prescott Mcphee; Numerous Relatives including: Joycelyn Ramsey and family, Diana Russell and family, Bertha Mae White and family, Alice Josey and family, Ruth Symonette Sears and family, Beryl Strachan and family, Clayton Wilfred Hanna and family, Anya Farquharson and family, Dwight Higgs and family, BarbaraJean Clarke and Mark Wilson and family, descendants of the late Benjamin and Henrietta Beckford, the Symonette’s of Eleuthera, the Miller’s of Long Island, descendants of Salina Point Acklins and surrounding areas, and many others; Special Friend: Barrington ‘Barry’ Sands; Numerous Friends including: Linda Jones, Marsha Mackey, Marva Dennis, Mrs. Pratt, Mrs. M. Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Baillou Hill Rd. & Cordeaux Avenue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. at the church until service time.
