Funeral service for
Alvena Gertrude Beneby, 88

a resident of Bartlette Lane, Johnson Road & formerly of Anderson Hill, Acklins, will be held at The Centreville Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5th Terrace, Centreville, on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  Officiating will be Pastor Leonard A. Johnson, assisted by Pastor Peter Joseph, Pastor Hugh Roach & Elder Harrison Moxey. Interment follows in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive.

Left to mourn her passing is her Husband Kenneth (Kelly); daughter: Francetta Beneby-Dada; Son-in-law: Moses Dada; One grand-son: Gabriel Dada of St. Augustine, Fla; Step daughter: Jacquelyn Beneby-Brewton of Titusville, Fla.; Five Step grandchildren; Four Sisters: Geneva Lewis of Miramar, Fla, Hetcema Williams, Elleamae Ferguson, Marrietha Moss (Cassius); Sisters in Law: Inez Symonette, Beverly Beneby, Elizabeth Ferguson, Joann Collie, Francis Jones (Jimmy), Robertha Symonette of Hallandale, Fla, Rev. Elfreda Symonette, Deaconess Carena Symonette, and Agnes Beneby of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Two Brothers: Rev. John, and Linrod Symonette of Miami, Fla.; One Brother-in-law: Rev. Daniel Beneby; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members including: the family of the late George & Emiline Virgil, the Collies of Hard Hill, Acklins, children of the Late Luther Symonette of Hallandale, Fla, and the late Robers Symonette of Neew Jersey also those of Nassau, children of Naomi Symonette-Lewis, the late Thevas and Francena Symonette, the late T.C. and Jerlean Symonette, family of the late Aretha Symonette-McKinney, children and grand-children of the late Wilmore and Florrie Stevens, the Moss family, Rev. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Thursday & on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
