Funeral Service for Martha Louise Sands, age 86 of #3 Seymour Street, Yellow Elder and formerly of North Palmetto, Eleuthera who died on Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 will be held on Friday, May 4th, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Bahamas Harvest Church, Prince Charles Drive. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Franklin Knowles and Rev. Charles Lewis. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Old Trail Road.

She is survived by her 3 Daughters: Pamela Fisher (Ernest), Nursing Officer Debbie Sands-Williams (Harold) and Brenda-lee Saunders (Brent); 9 Grandchildren: Renee and Ramon Fisher, Cruz Adderley, Howie and Perissa Williams, Christopher, Akeyra, Akeem (Catherine) and Thomas Saunders; 3 Great Grand-Children: Jahmai & Saira Fisher and Cali Rae Adderley; 3 Brothers: Silkert Thompson, Bentley & Shadick Culmer; 1 Sister: Angie Bain; 5 Adopted Children: Carl Smith, Ruth Bowe-Darville, Juel Barry and Elevette & Bradley Woodside; 3 Sisters-In-law: Cleomie, Melvina & Bertha Culmer; 15 Nephews: Rev. Franklyn Knowles, Bertram, Edward, David & Randolph Knowles, Orthneil, Anthony, Milton, Brenville, Bentley Jr., Perez, James, Mervin, Sherman and Lennard; 17 Nieces: Elizabeth, Sandra, Cynthia, Deloris, Maxine, Debbie, Sundy, Vanria, Lynn, Chevette, Lyretta, Nora, Letha, Tasha, Gloria, Verlene, and Christine; And a host of other Relatives and Friends including: Lila Wong, Irene Griffin, Ethlyn Thompson, Ruth Hutchinson, Juan Rogers, Nursing Officer Patsy Newbold and Family, Denise Williams, Marge & Gloria, Linda Farrington, Althea & Vincent Ferguson, Deloris Green, Daveann & Keishla Johnson, Charles Cox and family, Richea Heastie, Sister Doronell Fernander, Pastor Romelda Carey and family, Christine Oliver, Melvenia Cash, Marge & Gloria Rolle and Linda Farrington, Brenda Duvalier, Daphyne Clarke, the members and followers of Light & Life Community Church, and the entire community of Seymour Street, Yellow Elder Gardens. 
Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Baillou Hill Road & Cordeaux Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and again on Friday from 9 a.m. at the church until service time.
