Kay Meredith Thompson

A funeral service for the late Kay Meredith Thompson, age 82 of West Bay Street, Nassau, The Bahamas, died peacefully at Doctors Hospital, Collins Avenue, Nassau, on Saturday, 3rd May, 2018, will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Shirley Street, Nassau, on Friday, 11th May, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Father Anselm Russell will officiate and interment will follow in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street, Nassau.

She was predeceased by her parents Kiral Meredith Thompson,Sr., and Adeline Thompson; brother Kiral Meredith Thompson, Jr., and her sister, Marlene Zenicazelaya.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Daniel Zenicazelaya; nephews, Inigo (Jamillah) Zenicazelaya, Kiral Meredith III (Sarah) Thompson and Darren Thompson; niece, Lisa (Jeff) Law; great nephews, Santxol and Andoni Zenicazelaya, Patrick Earl, Dylan, John and Zane Thompson; great nieces, Carly Earl and Adeline Law, Mara Thompson and Lorelei Swanson-Thompson and Taylor Thompson, numerous cousins including Dorothea, Donald, David and Raymond Thompson and family, Agatha Sawyer and family, Madeline Cranfill and family, Francine Fomon and family, Jimmy and Ray Thompson and family, Douglas Thompson and family (Minnesota, USA), Scott, Janis and William Saunders, Jr. and family, numerous relatives in California, USA including Jennifer Steele, numerous family and friends including Jeannie Kuhn-Thompson, Katherine Rolle, Mirren, Mikel and Andoni Iturrizaga and family (Bilbao, Spain), Jean Ann Holm, Frieda Hall, Jill Pike and family, Commodore Tellis and Terry Bethel and family, management and Staff at Radio House and The Tribune and many other relatives and friends.

She will never be forgotten by her loving pets Tequila, Diva, Freedom and Sunshine.

The family would also like to thank Father Anselm Russell, Sister Cecelia, The Legion of Mary, Doctors Hospital Staff, Dr. C. Bonimy, Dr. M. Darville, Dr. P. Ramphal, Dr. K. Moss, Dr. R Francis, Dr. J. Moss, Dr. J. Iferenta and Dr. D. Sands.

Instead of flowers the family request that donations be sent to the Bahamas Humane Society, P.O. Box N. 242, Nassau in memory of Kay Meredith Thompson.
