Remelda “Tootsie” Judith Constantakis

Funeral service for Remelda Judith “Tootsie” Constantakis, age 76 years, of Petty’s, Long Island, will be held on Saturday May 19, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Hamilton’s, Long Island. Officiating will be the Venerable G. Kingsley Knowles assisted by the Venerable Keith N. Cartwright, Deacon Bryton Ward and Catechist Raphael Cartwright. Interment will follow in the Church’s Cemetery.

Tootsie was predeceased by her parents: Francis and Catherine Darville; siblings: Raymond, Charles and Eunice Darville; son-in-law: Peter Mousis

Left to mourn and cherish her memories are her children: Maggie Constantakis, Maria Mousis, Sandy (Renato) Ramacola, Bernadette (Wayne) Cartwright, George, Mandie (Christina), Paul Jr. (Monique), Angelo (Cheyenne), Mike (Marcia) and Nickolas (Amber) Constantakis; grandchildren: Enrico and Miquel Burrows, Meshalique Knowles, Paul Akeem Turnquest, Martha Salpadimos, Anna Maria and George Mousis, Demetria, Nicholas and Gianna Constantakis, Renato Jr., Sandino, Sarena and Diego Ramacola, Tristan and Nathan Cartwright, Vangalis, Charleena, Mandie Jr., Diane, Athena, Yanni, Elpida, Regan, Dimitri, Angelina, Xander, Malayna, Apostolos and Manoli Constantakis; great grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Hayley, Myra, Malikh, Mataeo, Kristos, Rohan, Akayla, Marianna, Fotini, Kosta, Maria, Pano, Stavros, Andreas, Alijandro, Kadence and Resheno; brothers: Roscoe, Paul and Delbert Darville; sisters: Evelyn Whitecross, Dorothy Turnquest and Katie Treco; sisters-in-law: Elpida Constantakis (Volos, Greece), Miriam, Maria and Lolita Darville; brothers-in-law: Mandie Constantakis (Volos, Greece), Drexel Turnquest and Damien Treco; numerous nieces and nephews; other close relatives: Carla and Monica Burrows, Kenneth Knowles, Selena Deveaux, George Salpadimos, Anya Mousis, Sheena Remacola, Lennox Cartwright and Linnet Constantakis, friends: Regina Cartwright, Raphael and Chloe Cartwright, Diane and Ted Greene, Hon. Friends may pay their last respects at Butlers’ Funeral Homes & Crematorium at Ernest and York Streets on Thursday May 17, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Friday May 18, 2018 at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Hamilton’s, Long Island from 4:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday May 19, 2018.
