Last Rites for Patriarch Vincent Laresta McDonald, age 83 of Astoria New York and formally of Nicolls Town, North Andros will be held on Saturday October 20th, 2018 at Renewal Bible Church & Youth Center, Queen’s Highway, Nicolls Town, North Andros at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Ifill Russell assisted by other ministers of the gospel. Interment will follow in Nicolls town public cemetery.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his faithful and devoted wife: Ivy McDonald, His children, Norma Cooper, Kym, Laramore, Vincent McDonald Jr., Linda Downer, Angelique K. Rivera & Kasheena Campbell-Frazier, 16 grandchildren: Phil & Brandon Cooper, Narkeiesha Darling, Krystal (Alphonso) McDonald-Pelt, Zhivargo (Nordia) Saunders, Rickyme Cox, Laurentiza & Lasantique Smith, Destinee & Joanna McDonald, Kosam Carter, Diamond Bloomfield, Niya Downer, Joshua DeBaptiste and Tyler & Dyani Frazier, 6 great grandchildren: Aldonique Rolle, Chad Miller, Kiemya Williams, Zhinyah & Zhireyah Saunders and Cameron Bloomfield, 5 Brothers: Calvin (Patsy), Derek (Francine), Gary (Jerry), Floyd & Lennie (Marsha) McDonald, 5 sisters: Marguerita McDonald, Catherine Clarke, Luzera (Erskine) Woods, Rosie (Jeffrey) Collins & Mareina Mallis, Numerous cousins including Lindop McPhee & Robert McDonald, Norma Newton & Sandy Sandi/Elias along with a plethora of treasured family & friends.
The body will repose at CURTIS MEMORIAL MORTUARY on Friday from 10am to 5pm and at the church Saturday at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
