Funeral Service for Merlene ‘Meri’ Taylor Knowles, age 81, of Simms, Long Island will be held on Saturday 22nd September 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Simms Gospel Chapel, Simms, Long Island. Officiating will be Pastor Ricardo Turner assisted by other ministers. Interment will follow in Simms Gospel Chapel, Simms, Long Island.

Left to cherish her fond memories are her Husband: Malachi of 57 years of marriage; her Children: Brenda, Ruth, Leonard, Spence and Elaine; Two Adopted Children: Patricia Bain and Omar Daley; Three Grandchildren: Tamika Knowles of Grand Bahama, Anita Knowles and Keturah Huyler of New Providence; Two Great Grandchildren: Jumeko Smith and Philicia Paulino;  Two Brothers: Henry Taylor of Orlando, Fl., and George Junior Taylor of Bain’s, Long Island; Godchildren: Urel Knowles, Ulie Knowles, Russell and Shanell Adderley; Sisters-in-law: Maple Taylor, Eleanor and Rev. Frank Miller, Gertrude and Rev. Viewing will be held at Simms Gospel Chapel, Simms, Long Island on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
