Funeral Service for Emily Bell Smith, 98 a resident of Malcom Road East and formally of the United Estates of San Salvador, will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Robinson and Claridge Road on Thursday August 1st, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Father Jay Cartwright, assisted by Other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleums, J.F.Kennedy Drive and Gladstone Road.
Left to cherish her fond memories are her Sons: Kipling and Prince Smith; Daughters: Rosemary McPhee, Agnes, Francina, Lotti, Verl Smith; Sons in Law: Peter McPhee and Lawrence Hepburn; Daughters in law: Ruth and Azely Smith; Adopted Daughters: Virginia Rolle and Mahalia Virgil; 65 Grandchildren: Patrick, Oscar, Courtney, Derek, Katie, Sharon Smith, Kelly (Ishban) Lynes, Linda, Emily, Christine Smith, Malvese, Glenda (Timothy) Thompson, Roberta (Beauford) Deleveaux and Garnell (Roscoe) Dames, Darren, Oscar Bryan, Jason (Tennille), Romeal (Enita), Analie, Nikita, Romeo, Tameka, Karomie, Kyle, Alicia, Demarco, Deangelo, Kareem, Corey Smith, Elva, Andria McPhee-Strachan, Evans and Keith McPhee, Erica (Christopher Sr.) Brown, D’Shan (Jerry) Pryce, Taniqua McPhee- Thompson (Ronald), Vanessa (Juan) Bethel, Vonette (Theofanis) Cochinamogulos, Davida, David, Dana, Davard Knowles, Garfield (Fernander), Mallory, Anatole Bullard, Ricco and Antonio Knowles, Shaniqua Ferguson ,Michael (Belinda) Pinder, Lanardo (Melissa) Sweeting, Joana (Wayne) Sweeting, Joando (Troy) Thompson, Glenda Davis, Marvin, Stephen(Dianne) Lightfoot, Jermaine (Rachel) ,Chivago Smith, Lynette Bain, Kano and Dario Davis, Joyanne Knowles Brendalyn Neely and Sterling Rigby; 151 Great-Grandchildren and 27 Great- Great Grandchildren: too numerous to mention. Nieces and Nephews including: Olive Lorenzo Williams, Margaret Bowe and Velda Knowles, Mike, Bethsaida. Other family and friends including but not limited to: The Catholic Church of the Resurrection and Holy Family St. Vincent De Paul Ministry, Women’s Auxiliary, the family of the late Beatrice Williams, Floretta Williams, Eloise Lightfoot, Arthur Bertrum Ferguson, Sister Agatha and Rosemary Hunt, Alrick Butler and Family, Leanna and Hazel Edgecombe and family, Adeline Virgil and family, Pamela Storr and family, the Benson’s Family from North Victoria Hill, Irma Pratt and family, the Larrimore’s, the family of the late Elmore & Muriel Nairn, the Havens, the Chipman’s , Lydia, Dianne and Archie Nairn, Dillith Nairn and Family, Van Gaitor, Catherine Storr Deloris Storr, David Knowles, Hezekiah McPhee, Charitable and Dorian Smith, Veronica Smith and the entire San Salvador community. Friends may pay their last respects at Vaughn Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Aveune and Talbot Street on Wednesday from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
