A funeral service for Mizpah A. Bethel of Lancaster Street, Shirlea Subdivision, Nassau and Sweetings Village, Marsh Harbour, Abaco, will be held at New Providence Community Church, Blake Road, Nassau, on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

She is predeceased by her son Timothy “Ty” Bethel, mother Barbara A. Sweeting-Sinclair, paternal grandparents Capt. Lloyd Sweeting and Emmy Sweeting-MacDonald and maternal grandparents Lionel and Katherine Russell. 

She is survived by her husband, Timothy P. E. Bethel; son, Logan Bethel; father, Roger L. Sweeting; brothers, Murray L. Sweeting, Matthew R. Sweeting and David G. Parks; sisters Joy Sweeting, Deborah Talens and Melissa K. Sweeting-Percentie; uncles, C. Keith Russell and Ian L. Russell; aunts, Jeanne Kemp-Taylor and Claudine Russell; brothers-in-law, Frederick Talens and Mark Redgrave; sisters-in-law, Allyson D. Sweeting, Jane-Michele Bethel, Jill L. Redgrave, Tanya L. Lester and Sandra Parks; nephews and nieces, Zoe Tokaryk, Hannah and Omega Percentie, William, Sage, Grace and Fara Talens, Adam and Micah Sweeting, Paul, Anna and Benjamin Redgrave, Christi and Natalie Lester; cousins, Tina Hertz, Ronald Kemp, Jr., Terry Kemp, Dale Kemp, Jonathan Russell, Sophieke Wood and numerous other relatives and friend.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The Down Syndrome Association, P. O. Box CB-13207, Nassau, Bahamas with cheques marked in memory of Mizpah Bethel.
