Funeral Service for Joseph Placide age 78 of Turnquest Ave. and formerly of St. Louis du Nord, Haiti who died on January 30, 2019 will be held on Saturday February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at United Alliance Baptist Church, Watling Street. Officiating will be Pastor Aleonce Bazile assisted by Other Ministers. Interment will follow in Southern Cemetery, Cowpen and Spikenard Roads.

He is survived by his wife, Marina Dean; his children, Astride Placide, Olivia Noel, Sherry Dean, Sandra Sanders, Jocelyene Beneby, Jocelyn Charles and Shinelle Rejuste; step children, Mackenson Charles, Sidelaine Fouquet; grandchildren, Olgine and Joardany Geffrard, Abdias, Stuart, Schna-Dune and Isabelle Jacques, Melanie Casmir, Winex Eugene, Girla Noel, Delama Casmir, Jeffery Sanchez, Cyrenti Charles, Emmet Rejuste, Dillan and Jeremy Charles, Shavonne Dean, Devonte Sanders, Savion Curry, Dana Walkins, Norman Armaley, Nesha and Lanique Armaley, Tianna, Maniah and Madison Charles and

Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. to service time.
