Predeceased by his father Alexander Grant Baxter, his mother Carolyn Louise Baxter and his brother Kenneth John Saunders.
He is survived by his wife: Loretta Baxter; sons::Alexander Baxter Jr., and Lex Baxter, daughter: Callista Baxter, in-laws: Jian Qing Ye and Can Jun Yang, sisters: Ellen Weindorf (Richard) and Samantha Finch (Jeff); aunts: Nora du Plessis, Jackie Robb (Douglas), Patsy Collins (Daryl), and Marsha Baxter Bellis; uncle: Billy Russell (Pam), nephews: Richie Weindorf, Brandon Weindorf, Jeffrey Finch, niece Nicole Finch and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday July 27, 2019.
