Funeral Service for Edward “King and I” Bullard age 73 of Blue Hill Road and Martin Street who died on June 4, 2019 will be held on Friday June 14, 2019 at 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Boyd Street. Officiating will be Monsignor Alfred Culmer. Cremation will follow.
Loving and fond memories will linger in the hearts and mind of his three sons, Dwayne, Edwin “Eddie” Bullard and Eddison Bullard Blackwell; three daughters, Sharon Lightfoot (RBDF Leading Seaman Marvin Lightfoot), Susan Renee Bullard and Sharita Bullard-Clarke; grandsons, Able Seaman(RBDF) Micheal Saunders Jr., Jaleel, Macalin, Nathaniel Lightfoot, Rashad, Philtaro, Shakeem, Perez Lightbourne and Ethan Bullard Blackwell; granddaughters, Edna and D’Erin Bullard, WDC 3865 Miashyia Saunders (RBPF), Philicity Lightbourne, Christie and Navaeh Lightfoot and Desiree and Shanell Lockhart; two great-grandsons, Aiden and Omari Saunders; three sisters, Carol Sweeting, Sheila Munroe and Rosalee Pennerman; four brothers, Paul Bullard, Vernal Sweeting, Harry Pennerman and Felix Whylly; one uncle, Usful Woodside; three aunts, Miriam Young, Lillian Edeyard and Barbaramae Rolle; numerous nieces and nephews including: Kevin, Keino, Reiko, B’Jorn, Alaric, Cedric, Michael, McKaile, Anthony, Kermit, Dion, Adrian, Shelly, Chervon, Psyche, Veronique, Sherice, Melissa, Monique, Jacara, Salina, Hadassah, Dianna and Joanna Rolle, Nandra Bastian, Elizabeth McPhee, Analee Dean, Darnell Roker and Sherice; other relatives and friends including: Desna Clarke, Tracey ferguson, Eva Bullard and Family, Luella Mackey and Family, “Bobala”, “Zanda”, “Lefty”, John Stuart and Martin Street corner Boys, The Grant’s Town and Bahama Ave Families, Staff of Four Seasons Restaurant, Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Princess Margaret Hospital, A&E Department, Male Medical and Surgical Wards.
Viewing will be held in the legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Thursday (TODAY) from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and on Friday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. to service time.
