Funeral Service for the late Ruth Naomi Gomez aged 90 years of Mount Royal Avenue and formerly of Lignum Vitae Cay, Berry Island will be held on Saturday May 25th 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, Mt. Rose Avenue. Officiating will be Fr. Scott Brennen assisted by other ministers of the Clergy. Interment will follow in Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.

Left to cherish her memories are her Daughters: Gayle and Patricia Coakley; Grandsons: Robert Knowles and Owen Coakley; Granddaughter: Tavonia Sturrup; Great Grandson: Jayson Knowles; Sister: Leoni McCartney; Nieces: Rowena Symonette, Sylvia Laraque, Lillian Scott, Roslyn Bastian, Deborah Thompson, Judith Fox, Wendy Pugh, Linda Wells, Jeanne Gomez and Patrice Campbell; Nephews: Earlyn Fox, Anthony McCartney, Philip and Clyde Gomez, Quinn McCartney, David Fox and Michael Gomez and their families. Other relatives and friends include, but not limited to: David Dean, Etta Feaste, Shirley Burrows, Bishop Drexel Gomez, Myrtle Gomez, Perry Gomez, Andy Gomez, Roger Gomez, Anita Roberts and Veronica Gomez, Patrick Gomez, Heather Wood, Sherry Wood, Hyacinth Grant, Ida Stuart, Lorna Taylor, Allan, Leonard and Sherman Stuart, Vernel Albury, Ivy Taylor, Patsy Roberts, Betty Rahming, Norma Mackey, Colin Francis and their families; the entire Gomez family; the entire Dean family; Lester Gibson and family; Laverne Major and family, Erika Fox and family, Carolyn Fountain, Paula Knowles and the Knowles family, Father Scott Brennen, the St. Georges Church family, especially the Guild for the Sick and Needy; Canon Basil Tynes, Archdeacon Kingsley Knowles and friends and neighbours in The Valley and others.

Family and friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #44 Nassau Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. ‬until service time.
