Funeral Service for Mr. Bertram Albert “Dadda” Black age 86 years of East St. south and formerly of Pleasant Bay, Andros & Jonestown, Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama will be held at Bible Truth Ministries, Martin’s Close, Cowpen Rd. on Saturday 26th October at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Woodlawn Way. Officiating will be Pastor Ellison Greenslade assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel.

Left to cherish this gem’s memories are his children: Four sons: Anthony, Everette, Albert and Douglas Black; Five daughters: Cynthia Smith (pre-deceased him), Marjorie Pinder, Dorothy Sweeting, Eva Joyce and Natasha Ricketts; One brother: James Black, One -Brother- in- law: Joseph Smith; One Aunt-in-law: Doreen Brown; Grandchildren: Shadya Woods, Schyvonne Ottley, Steven Pinder and Val Pinder, Michael, Basil, Darren, Lano, Montgomery, Rashio, Carlos, Suluo Black, LaToya Saunders, Lavar, Lamond, Laverette and Agassi Sweeting, Randy, Cardinal, Sherman Black, Valentino, Aibbtter, Khadafy Mott, Kasina Rolle, Starr Duncombe, Humbero, Fantasia, Kenzo Black, Samantha, Sasha, Sebastain, Shannon and Shanta Joyce, Dwain Ricketts Jr., Ta’Nae Rolle Great Grandchildren: Dylan, Trace and Zane Bastian, Shari Joyce, Shontai and Steffon Ferguson, Jeremy, Jeremesha, Jeremia, Jertya Saunders, Perious, Peterson Williams, Rayne Munnings, Cyrus and Jaiden Sweeting. Friends may pay their respect at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
